OUR ACTIVITIES
We are working actively in the following ways to achieve our mission.
Rescue and redistribute surplus food
- Redistributing surplus produce in farmer’s markets to local non-profit organizations
- Collecting backyard fruits from families in the local community and redistributing to non-profit organizations
- Redistributing surplus food from party venues to local non-profit organizations
- Redistributing surplus food in school cafeterias to local non-profit organizations
- Hosting workshops on methods to reduce food waste: i.e. clarification of “sell-by” and “best-before” labels and education on proper storage methods to reduce consumer food waste


Battle Food Insecurity
- Alleviate hunger and malnutrition through donations and contributions from local community
- Starting community gardens and school edible gardens
- Hosting food drives and food pantry initiatives
- Coordinate with school administration to setup food pantries for students
Explore novel technologies to improve food system efficiency and promote long-term sustainability
- Building vertical farms in schools
- Hosting workshops on digitally monitored vegetable beds
- Seminars to raise awareness on efficiency challenges in food production, processing, distribution, and consumption
- Creating apps or online platforms to connect farmers, restaurants, consumers to exchange surplus food
- Implementing low-cost storage methods closer to farms to reduce waste in transportation
